You were probably thinking it was Emerson's first birthday by the title of my post, but nope, it's mine. I am the first one of my little family to celebrate a birthday in our new house and I am very thankful to be starting this year - and this new year - in our home. I intend to take a nap, be lazy, eat lots of cake and enjoy the day.
